This hillside home embraces simplicity as a canvas for relaxation. It possesses charming, elaborate, and decorative motifs that give tasteful homage to the character and grandeur of the 80s. Rather than allowing the original architecture to overwhelm the space, we decided to edit, remove, and make room for a new palette. Like all the remodels we work on, our intention was to be thoughtful about what was a permanent fixture and what could be voided to create more flow. The end result is a livable and practical family home that exists at the intersection of form and function where beauty is implicit.
